The Story of Job. This lesson discusses the famous conversation between God and the Satan that led up to Job's sufferings. We learn of Job's righteous behavior and what might have possibly been his sinful thoughts. Did Job sin against God by believing in his heart that God had treated him unfairly and was thus unjust? In the end we learn a profound lesson about human sufferings, and how that Heavenly interventions can be for either good or evil. This is a lesson about the reality of how God's thoughts and ways are higher than our own, and that in spite of the best human efforts to understand, somethings will forever be beyond us. Sometimes truth hurts, but, as we are taught, truth is one of God's Names. Therefore, to draw close to truth, is to draw close to God, however painful an endeavor this may prove to be.
